Beyond the river, I see a lush green meadow, embellished with quiet serenity, beckoning with modest earnestness, to come and share in the joy of dwelling in peace. To be rid of sin, to have no fondness for the world, to be unfettered by gluttony, lust, covetousness, ambition, depression, to be caught up in the pleasure of knowing God. Now that is christian reality. I'm wandering around the other side of the gushing waters, near the banks, gazing at the vast expense of joy and I'm sick of all the sins that attempt to ensnare.

How much longer before sin is smashed from our consciousness and we are free to glorify God in unhindered joy?

I'm waiting for heaven.
